Chuck Maldonado

Chuck Maldonado is one of today’s most sought after Choreographers/Creative Directors in the industry. He has made such an impact in TV and films such as; Stomp The Yard 1 and 2, Step Up Revolution, House Party 5, Disney films G-Force, and Underdog. In addition, his talent and creative direction has also been used in shows such as; Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, X-Factor, and America’s Best Dance Crew. Additionally, Chuck has worked on numerous commercials that include; McDonalds, Wendy’s, Best Buy, AT&T, Hanes, Gap, and Target. He has also worked with several recording artist such as; Fergie, Chris Brown, Young Thug, P. Diddy, Ne-Yo, Usher, Pink, Khalid, and Missy Elliott.
Whether Choreographing, Creative Directing, Producing and now being a Studio owner Chuck is known worldwide as one of the best in the industry. His professionalism, magnetic personality, and perfectionist attitude makes him a pleasure and joy to work with.
Aliya Janell Brinson
CEO, Co-Founder
Aliya Janell is an LA based choreographer, dancer, and content creator. Since the viral success of her dance masterclasses in 2017, Aliya earned herself over 2 million followers on her social media. Making high energy, sexy, athletic choreography her signature she created her own brand Queens N Lettos. Since, she’s choreographed and danced alongside artists like Beyoncé (Renaissance Tour), Nicki Minaj (Queen Album), Jennifer Lopez (It’s My Party Tour), and many more. Understanding the importance of social media Aliya continued to grow her platforms and has landed partnerships with Gatorade, Fitbit, Shoedazzle, Coca Cola, Viacom and many more.
As demand for her QNL classes grew around the world she’s found a new purpose to show dancers to “create their own” and be in the forefront of their own careers as Aliya did. Even with all the accomplishments the past 8 years, Aliya is no where near done.
Tallie L. Brinson
COO, Co-Founder
Tallie L. Brinson is a professional television and film actor, dancer, film director and creative producer amongst several other talents. Tallie’s experience in the industry reaches back to his musician days at Florida A&M University where he was amongst select groups to perform with both The Artist Formerly Known as Prince in the Superbowl Halftime show and in the 2005 Grammy Awards with American rap artist Kanye West and Actor/Singer Jamie Foxx. His earliest dance experience also began at the University for the FAMU Strikers organization who competed and finished top four on MTV’s Americas Best Dance Crew Season 3 as the Strikers Allstars Stepping Crew. The nationally broadcasted exposure was a true spring board as Tallie went on to do films such as Disney’s Camp Rock 2, Alvin and the Chipmunks sequel, Stomp The Yard 2, Step Up Revolution Endless Love and Candycane Lane starring Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross. Content with his accomplishments as a dancer, Tallie began to explore film and production in order to familiarize himself with acting. He is a self taught film maker and co-founder of Alphadawg Entertainment & Film who provide media services for notables such as Angela Simmons, actress Kelilita Smith, Former Heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield, actor Woody McClain and the Queens N Letto’s dance company. As an actor Tallie has co starred as a series regular on BET’s “The Quad” as the hot tempered head drum major “Danny Brown”, “Everthing But A Man” starring Monica Calhoun and Jimmy Jean Louis and other notable bookings for Old Navy, Kia, Gap, the world renowned Beyonce and Jay-Z for Coachella, The Jonas Brothers, Keyshia Cole, TLC, Ciara, Nick Cannon, Kevin Hart, The Rock and many more.

The STU Los Angeles was founded in 2024 by entertainment industry professionals Chuck Maldonado, and power couple Aliya Janell and Tallie Brinson. At The STU, we view our partnership as the perfect blend of Chuck’s 20+ years as a Choreographer and Creative Director in Television and Film, Aliya Janell’s phenomenal Queens N’ Lettos Dance Company with over 7 million followers across all social platforms, and Tallie’s 15 years of professional dance, acting and film production experience. We set out to create a studio that embraces an elevated and exclusive experience, making everyone feel like a star. Having been in numerous studios around the world, we have brought the best elements from each of them to stimulate your creativity, safety and comfort.
